OUR MISSION

My name is Jerry West and I have been doing SEO since 1996.  Like most SEOs, I have had my share of frustrations and disappointments.  I have once been fooled and misled by all the myths and misconceptions that surround the SEO industry.  I found these lies everywhere - in the forums, conferences and even the live workshops I have attended.

People come out of these conferences and workshops in the same way they came in.  Lost and confused.  Their efforts in applying their new learning didn’t work.  Their sites are still not successful and they are still stuck in a rut.

Why?  Because most of the time, these theories have not been tested.  They get passed on as a “fact” before anyone could even verify it.

Enough is enough.  Something has to be done.

Someone had to separate the truth from all the lies.  Someone had to test these myths before it is passed on as “fact.”

SEO Revolution was created to do just that.

I have a group of highly certified search engine specialists who compile huge amounts of data from our more than 500 test domains.  We test methods and we implement our findings on our own sites.  Our methods are not based on opinions, myths or hearsay.  Our methods are tested on hundreds of domains across multiple servers and multiple platforms.  You take your business seriously.  We take our testing seriously.

We take our testing so seriously that we can, in fact, guarantee that each piece of information we send out has been tested and verified. We cut through the lies and give you methods that actually work.

Yes, there are a lot of information out there and it is sometimes difficult to distinguish between fact and theory.  That is what we are here for.  To test these information and give you what you need to know.  You can’t trust everything that is posted on the web.  At least not until we have tested it.

WHAT MY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE MEAN TO YOU

For every issue and problem you have encountered in this industry, chances are, I have already experienced it and have overcome it.  I have been in the business long enough to know what works and what does not.

I can help you take your business to the next level by providing you insights and action items which you can apply to your business and to your website.

Allow me share with you some of the most important things I have learned over the years in this business:

  1. Do not chase search engine algorithms.

One of the things I have learned early on is to not chase the search engine algorithms.  Yes.  Do not chase them.  Why?  Because you are better off doing the basics.  The time you spend following algorithms will be better spent on long-term marketing efforts instead of looking for short-term non-significant results.  I have gone that route in the past and have long realized my mistake.

You may have a #2 ranking for a certain keyword phrase which could be bringing your site 550 visitors per day.  That’s great.  But let me tell you this.  In the time that you have spent gaining that ranking, I have already written 285 pages of unique content, obtained 821 links and submitted a dozen press releases.  From all these efforts, I am collectively getting over 1,300 visitors per day.

    See the difference?

You can easily outperform your competition by looking at the big picture.  Do not optimize with your blinders on and more importantly, do not use old, outdated information.

  1. Know which information you can trust.

There are a lot of information out there.  Often untested but passed on as “facts” and sadly believed by inexperienced webmasters or SEOs.  One of my favorite ads which first appeared in 1997 says –

“Submit your site to 100,000 search engines for $9.95.”

This ad appears up to now.  What’s amazing is that people keep believing it is true and pay for mass search engine submissions.  Reality hits when people realize the difference between submitting to a search engine and actually getting a click from a search result.

We never send out information without testing it first.  We have over 500 test domains from which my group of certified search engine specialists gathers data from.  I then make sense of it all and then put out what Michael Campbell calls as “The Best SEO Advice on the Planet.”

  1. Know your Craft

Constantly improve your knowledge of search engines, your experience and your expertise.  Do not get lazy and complacent.  There is no such place for that in this industry.  The deeper you understand SEO, the more you realize there is a lot to do and it just never seems to end.

Become an invaluable resource to your clients and/or advertisers and they will never leave you.  If you show that you are always on top of the situation, they will appreciate it.  Prove yourself worthy and you will gain steadfast loyalty from your clients.

  1. Build a Comprehensive Internet Business Plan

Regardless of whether you belong to a big corporation or an owner of a small business, you will need a comprehensive plan for your website that is easy to market and to manage.

We have consulted for many of the top firms such as General Electric, Sun Systems, AT&T, Monster.com, Tupperware, Psion Teklogix, and dozens of other Fortune 500 companies.  We have successfully assisted these companies in implementing an internet marketing plan for their online businesses and we provide the same level of service and results to small business owners.

THE SEO REVOLUTION ADVANTAGE

We can help you take your business to the next level.  We have the expertise and experience to provide you real, truthful information that is tested and not guessed at.  From SEO beginners to SEO veterans, we have the advice and services you need.

We would never mislead you no matter what the cost.  Proof of this is the recent hype on “The Arbitrage Conspiracy.”  It would have been easier to keep quiet.  It would have been more profitable to keep quiet.  But I did not.

I owe it to you to give you the truth and I believe that honesty should prevail.  I say things as I see them and I deliver them to you without the frills.  The honest reviews we provide do not only save you money.  It saves you a whole load of frustration too.

Mike Grehan once said that “Asking a site for a link is like asking someone to do business with you.”  And I agree with him.  This task is very important as it is one of the means by which we can consistently increase our rankings, traffic and sales.  Further, linking allows you to build a foundation for your business.  This is why when we do linking, we should not just focus on bringing traffic, but rather qualified traffic. Read More
