AFFILIATE DISCLAIMER    | Home

I'm an affiliate marketer. Have been for a long time. That means that I get paid and make my living selling other people's products. This is an "official" disclaimer that if I make a recommendation on this site you should probably assume that I am going to get paid a commission if you buy it.

Should you be concerned? That's up to you.

You see, unlike other sites that recommend anything under the sun for a commission, I test every product and service before I market it. I buy it. I try it. I even ship it back and see how the staff treats me when I ask for a refund. After all, if I am treated like crap, you probably will too, so regardless of how good the commission is, I'm not going to recommend the product.

So the bottom line is, only those products and services that meet my high standards are recommended here. Period. However, my judgement is never influenced by commissions and I have routinely recommended products and/or services which did not offer a commission over competitors that did. That is just good business in my book. Earning your trust is my #1 goal.

Commissions often corrupt others, but will never corrupt me. :-)

Now, this is the "common sense" part of the disclaimer. Even though I have done extensive testing on the product and/or service I am recommending, don't you think that you should do your own research to ensure the purchase will meet your requirements before buying it? Yeah, that makes sense, doesn't it? Also, don't buy anything you can't afford. That is just stupid.

Mike Grehan once said that “Asking a site for a link is like asking someone to do business with you.”  And I agree with him.  This task is very important as it is one of the means by which we can consistently increase our rankings, traffic and sales.  Further, linking allows you to build a foundation for your business.  This is why when we do linking, we should not just focus on bringing traffic, but rather qualified traffic. Read More
